Photo du Jour

Sorry for the hiatus, I'm on a job hunt.
I leave you with a boost of Dick Clark reincarnated as a woman.

When The Sky Fell

Documentary's really are the new wonder of the world.  Bill Cunningham's just came out, which I will see Thursday and give you all the deets.  I just found out that one of the most renowned photographers and one of my faves will be showcasing their documentary at Cannes Film Festival on none other than Guy Bourdin. It's entitled, When the Sky Fell Down: The Myth of Guy Bourdin. There's something about his erotic surrealism that makes for such a beautiful photo and feminist debate by Gloria Steinem.

Here's a little sneak peek I got off The Guardian. Along with some of my favorite photographs by the master himself.

Even the music gets me excited!

MVP

Images via Fashion Gone Rogue
I've come to the conclusion (Better late than never) Miu Miu & Prada take Most Valuable Player in terms of spring photo shoots.

Everyone's cravin' bright colors, a good wedge, Pepé Le Pew's tail, and a metallic bolero

"Come to me, my little melon-baby collie!"

It Runs in the Family

Stella McCartney's collection is fo sho my favorite Paris collection so far.
The textures, colors and shapes are quintessential Stella McCartney, with an ample push in silhouettes.
I guess talented genes can come in all forms of the arts
You've got Paul from the Beatles (Dur)
Mary, the talented Photog
Young James, the musician, songwriter, sculptor.
and of course Stella

It's a big genetic cash machine

My Weakness

Tommy Ton's photos from the Proenza Schouler Fitting
I get weak in the knees by the visual essence of the sillhouettes.
This is my weakness.

Proenza and Swedish fish
