London's Best

I've NEVER been FuLLy soLd on London Fashion Week but these Top 3 FrontRunners (in my book) with the addition of Mr. Christopher Kane, I was pleasantly surprised and delightfully satisfied.

Christopher Bailey isn't one to usually delve in pRinTs, but he juXtaposed patterns to a T. I'm dying (literally) for the outerwear and shoes, mostly the outerwear, but the shoes would be a nice addition.

Remember how I mentioned fLoraLs have taken FULL reign on the Spring 2012 collections?  You may as well call Mary Katrantzou array of siLhoueTTes an ArBoReTuM. They're magnificent and I have no doubt that Anna Dello Russo and me (hopefully) will be purchasing these bLosSomed beauties.

I remember the first time I came across a Peter Pilotto dress.  Meredith Melling Burke of Vogue US was wearing a picTuresQue silhouette by Mr. Pilotto and I quickly stopped her to find out where I would be making my neXt purchase. These three outfits reminded me of a modern day Alice in Wonderland and I'm going to fall down Pilotto's rabbit hole.

There's still one more day of London Shows, but I felt confident that these are beTTeR than the rest.

Maybe someone will prove me wrong tomorrow.
Doubt it.

Deflowered

Alright, so whomever put FLoraL prints on the map (I'm thinking Jil Sander) deflowered the industry and has made FLoreTs all the rage.
You don't need to remind that bLosSoming foliage is NOT a new milieu, but somehow it seems to take reign over MONOCHROMATIC enthusiasts-I.E. see Celine.

Christopher Kane brought me an iridescent, floral simplicity that made me remember I have NO money to spend on this entire collection. But at the same time being I was fLoating in a fantaSy filled with modern day Virgin Suicides (The Sofia Coppola version) without any sudden death.

*I must say, as much as I LOVE the collection, Kane did not make me want to go back to the 90's and show off a look alike Adidas sandal.

I don't care if it has his name on it, it's still unattractive

Besides Proenza Schouler

I'm trying not to PEE my pants...

Alright, so this is a bit expected from Francisco Costa, but you can't deny that it's perfect.
Calvin Klein ALWAYS eXceeds my expectations.
The intimate deTaiLs of the slip dresses and TaiLored bLaZers were eXQuisite.
I don't actually run the habit of peeing my pants...
but DAMN I was close.

Photo du Jour

This is my faVorite Street Style photograph I've seen this past week.  Tommy Ton is great at shOOting details and Taylor Tomasi Hill's green tonal combination is so simple, yet serene.
I never wanted to invest in Sperrys but these are pretty weLL coveted.

A Cykic Obsession

If you consistently read my blog (you should be) you know Proenza Schouler is my neuroSiS and preferred NYC designer.  And of course they did it AGAIN this season.

The prints are fantastic.
The accessories are To Die For-I desperately want/need that camera case.
And the siLhoueTTes make me drool a little.

I've got a fever
And the only prescription is...MORE Proenza!
A little corny, but true.
